What is Event Planning all about?

Event Planning is the means of managing a project like a meeting, trade show, party, or a convention, which includes setting timelines/goals, budgeting, scouting event sites, obtaining permits, planning food and decor, coordination of transportation, coming up with a theme, arranging activities, choosing speakers, arranging equipment, taking on risks, and coming up with alternative plans. 

Event Planning can be very stressful work and perhaps demanding. Event Planners must multitask at one time, meet deadlines, and facilitate activities of many people. Work hours can be long and irregular, especially days  leading up to the event and event wrapping.
